| Thanks to all those who cared...making congee, giving me pills, or even just an "are you alright?". Thank you.
Msn is a funny thing i realised, putting "away" or "busy" and pretend that you are not there to avoid talking to certain people is not any news. But what i have discovered myself doing lately, is that i don't like making the first move of starting a conversation, worrying that the other person is busy or just ends up being a really boring conversation, and in the deep of my mind still wishing you will start the conversation...Haha, i am so silly..
p.s. been listening to shared music library from other people connected to the university network, discovered a few artists that i like, but today i also came across a guy that ONLY listens to metal, death metal, thrash metal, black metal, heavy metal...and i can't remember what metal! that is mental!

| Quote from Heroes season 2 episode 1: "So what are you? Are you one of them? Or one of the others?" "Are you a robot, or an alien?" "Robots, do what they're told. Aliens, on the other hand, do their own thing."
So which kind are you?
Living as a robot tires you out, with all the peer pressure and social expectations. You look good for people, you do good deeds for people, you dress to impress, to secure your own status in a society.
Living as an alien, meaning that you set your own standards, set your own timings, set your own daily routines. However, sometimes you try so hard living as an alien you are in fact living as a robot. You try to be unique and not following the others, to make yourself special, which in itself is an act of living as a robot because you want people to think that you are not a trend-follower, a crowd-following sheep.
Random thoughts at 2 AM on a Sunday....crap i got a test tomorrow!

| Friends, is an interesting thing.
People move from places to places all the time. Having friends in all around the world and having friends here that are from all around the world, makes you wonder how long is it till you can spend time with your old friends and how much time do you still have with your new friends.
New friends, you are more likely to be warm to them. Old friends, you are more likely to be less warm to them.
New friends that you have been warm to, you are likely to be cold to some of them after a period of time as you know them better. Old friends that you have been cold to, you wish to feel the warmth that you had when you first met
New friends, they are nice to you because they don't want any awkwardness or portraiting a negative image of themselves. Old friends, you get into friction with them because you know about each other's weakness or shortcomings.
What are friends? People around you? People around you? That guy who's typing away next to you ain't your friend. Close people that you know and like? The people that you know and like doesn't necessarily mean they know and like you. You have hundreds of friends on facebook, but how many of them do you call "friends", or, how many of them call you "friend"? People that have a mutual relationship with affection and trust? You don't call your family "friends". And what are the different levels of friends? Ones that you study with, ones that you go shopping with, ones that you have dinner with, ones that you can share little secrets with, ones that you can share your faith with, ones that you can be HONEST with.
Friends, is an interesting thing...
Conclusion: Having lack of sleep, sitting in a computer lab at 2pm without having breakfast or lunch trying to do a programming assignment makes you think about a lot of things that are not related to computers.
